Reduce retest, scrap and recalls

IntraStage announced the release of a Case Study with the experiences of a major Aerospace Electronics Manufacturer who understood the importance of managing their ATE’s (Automated Test Equipment) through the use of Test Data. Without properly checking the health of both the software and hardware on ATEs, there is a risk of tests not being performed effectively causing products to escape manufacturing with reliability and performance defects.

  •  Saved 240 hours in Engineering time
  •  Reduced retest and scrap. Saving of $200K in operator time.
  •  Improvement of first pass yield from 50% to 80%

“Having rapid and accurate visibility into our Test Data has improved our manufacturing operations in a number of different ways,” says the Engineering Test Manager. “Moving forward, being able to distribute this data to more functional teams within the company is our next goal. By everybody having access to the data to make decisions, this will improve overall collaboration and reduce times to fix problems.”

This industry-leading Aerospace Electronics Manufacturer monitored their Test Data through IntraStage solution that helped them more cleverly reduce manufacturing operation costs, improve their overall engineering efficiency and avoid recalls. The complete Case Study can be read here.

We are nominated for “Best in Test”

We are proud to announce that IntraStage’s Black Belt 5.0 software solution is one of the finalists for the 2013 Best in Testawards. The editors at Test & Measurement World chose nominees that represent the year’s most significant innovations in electronic product testing. They will announce the category winners at their Best in Test event, which will be held at DesignCon 2013.

IntraStage has been granted this distinction for also advancing Best Practices such as been shown in a recent Case Study co-written by Selex Electronics Systems and IntraStage. This Case Study can now be read on the Industry leading online magazine “Automation World”. Click here to access.

IntraStage Co-Writes paper with SELEX Galileo and presents at AutoTestCon 2012

IntraStage’s Harsh Wanigaratne spoke at AutoTestCon 2012 in DisneyLand on September 11th. It was a full house as many visitors and exhibitors listened in on the”Application of ATML Test Results and IntraStage to Facilitate Intelligent Data Analysis.” A paper that was co-written with SELEX Galileo.

If you missed us at AutoTestCon, here is a breif summary of our paper:

Many organizations today struggle with getting meaningful insights out of their Test Data. Partly this is due to the complexity of the collection and aggregation of the data, and also partly due to the actual types of data that is recorded at the Test Stations. With some careful planning, the Test Data can be full of rich insights if some standard tags are added to the overall Test Data format. To read the full paper click here!
